`asciinema rec` fails with this error

#1

I am trying to use asciinema rec on my iTerm 2 terminal app on Mac with OhMyZSH.

It fails with this notice.

➜  ~ asciinema rec
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/local/Cellar/asciinema/2.0.1_1/libexec/bin/asciinema", line 6, in <module>
    from pkg_resources import load_entry_point
ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'pkg_resources'
➜  ~

I am not very where to look further. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Noting that I was able to fix this with this guide.

This homebrew packaging issue is popping up once in a while. I wonder if there’s anything we can do about this. There’s a chance it will sort itself out once people will have newer Python installations on their machines? :thinking:
